Teacher Planner

Do you find yourself losing that important paper or forgetting what skill is next while typing up lesson plans on a Sunday night? The struggle is REAL, organization is a key factor in a successful school year! I created this teacher planner YEARS ago; over the years I have perfected it to fit the needs of a teacher. My BFF (also a teacher) and I would spend countless hours over the Summer mapping out our curriculum. Then I would print it and bind it at school! The feeling of organization was AMAZING!

Having a functional planner is MOST important, but they need to match our personalities too! I offer over 200+ covers to choose from! Can’t find that right one? I take personal requests to find that right cover that meets your needs. Read how below.

If you’ve read this far, you’re likely at that commitment point to get organized!

You can map out curriculum and have it all at your fingertips, one place, ready for the Fall. There are hundreds of pages that include a lesson planner, attendance tracker, class rosters, MTSS/ RTI data tracking, to do lists, and so much more! Special requests?! Just ask!

The planner is made to customize YOUR needs.

How many countless planners have been purchased and sat in the “NEXT year” pile…Or you started and never stuck with it. With this planner you can print as many or little pages as you would like!

Each year I use this planner I customize it to MY needs! Take a look at the progression:

As you can see these Teacher Planners have been used and abused over the years! Find the Calendar here on TPT: https://goo.gl/jii2pr

Even the perfect mapping of skills, life happens…. We had hurricane Irma last year that knocked out power, we missed weeks of school! The best part with these planners are YOU have the ability to edit pages and reprint.  Or, like me.. draw an arrow to next week! HAHA!

Here is a closer look of last year’s calendar! As you can see, I have M-F on mine.

Many of you asked for Sun- Sat. That can be added as well!

Here is the latest design.

Last year’s Calendar is included with the update as a blank template with no dates.

Let’s answer some questions you may have!

Do you have to print it on 8.5 x 14 (Legal size) paper?

No, you can change the setting to 8.5 x 11 (Letter size) in your printer settings. Download the preview and it will show you how to do that. However, it is made to be printed on legal size paper. This allows you to map out skills and have more room to type. If you print it on letter paper, the printer will shrink it down leaving a white border on the top and bottom.

If I purchase the calendar this year, do I have to repurchase it again next year?

No, once you purchase this calendar you will get updates each year.

How can I get the latest updates?

Go to “My purchases” on TPT. Then hit “download” and the updates will be there!

I love your covers, but I want one with my name.

You can add your name by adding a “text box” and typing your name. If you want me to make a personal cover, reach out to me at carolynscreativeclassroom@gmail.com or on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/Carolynscreativeclassroom/

I noticed you have “personal requests” on the bottom of the resource. How can I get a cover like that?

Please contact me either via e-mail or on FB messenger and I will be happy to make you one. There is fee of minimum of $5 depending on the design. https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Personal-Request-Teacher-Planner-Covers-5566680

Can I print this vertical?

Some printers allow you to print this vertical and will make it very tiny. It is not made to be printed vertical.

How is the calendar editable?

You may add a text box anywhere on the page. You can change the font color and size to whatever you want. The only thing you can’t change are the titles of the page.

I don’t have PowerPoint can I still use this?

To edit the files, you should use PowerPoint (newer than 2003). If you are trying to use a different program, you may run into various formatting issues I won’t be able to help you with. ONLINE versions of PowerPoint and programs such as Google Slides do not have the same capabilities as the full version of PowerPoint (Font issues, etc.). If you don’t have access to the FULL version of PowerPoint at home, check with your school.

Does the Calendar include Holidays?

A blank template and holiday set is included.

How do you bind it?

Our school had a binding machine for use. Staples or Office Max also have binding capabilities for a nominal fee. They can also be purchased through AMAZON, then you can add pages anytime you want! 😉

Comb Binding: https://amzn.to/2u383Sr

Happy Planner: https://amzn.to/2LfpPIO

I own all three. I started off using Comb Binding machine. Now I use Proclick for my calendar. I punch the side of the binder and not the top.

I want my calendar in a binder and not bound. Can I do that?

Yes! You can purchase larger binders to fit this paper. It is personal preference.
