Alphabet Anchor Chart, Picture Cards, and Recording Sheets: Circle Maps

$8.00

Description

Are you looking to teach the Alphabet in a more meaningful way for your students?

This set includes:

  • Alphabet Anchor Chart – You will get pieces you can print, cut, and glue onto an anchor Chart. This chart is made so you can reuse it over and over again for each letter. I laminate mine. Then I add velcro dots for the picture cards. Then my students and I can write on any additional pictures/words to the circle map using Expo Markers. I can erase it at the end of the day/or week. Then use it for the following letters!
  • Picture Cards – There are 6 picture cards per letter. Included are hard and soft c and g so you can teach those sounds as well. All vowel letters have an additional 6 cards with a total of 12 cards. You get 6 long and 6 short vowel sound cards.
  • Circle Maps – There are 26 circle maps (1 per letter) and 1 blank version.
  • Recording Sheet – There are 26 sheets (1 per letter) with 10 dotted lines for your students to write down words that begin with that letter.

Common Core Connection:

RF.K.1d Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet.

RF.K.3a Demonstrate basic knowledge of one to one letter sounds correspondences by producing the primary sound for each consonant.

RF.K. 3b Associate the short and long vowel sounds for the five major vowels.

Don’t forget to write feedback.
