How to use this?
Copy these sheets front to back and have an example made projecting on the board. These sheets are made for students to complete independently. These sheets are more geared academically than the 1st week of school.
Why these sheets and not morning tubs?
The first two weeks is crucial to maintain classroom management, getting students in their seats focused on a task, all while you get the students into the classroom safely. I spend the first 2 weeks on rules and procedures, I teach HOW to do morning tubs/centers before I have them out for the kids. They learn how to clean up, where materials are located, and expectations.

- 6 sheets (Write my name, trace and write letters (all 26 letters), and identify colors)
- 6 sheets (Write my name, and identify the letter by color coding them) The color code crayons are blank so you can choose the colors for the students OR let them choose their favorite colors!
